The Robinsons Malls recently conducted the selection of the 12 Ms. Robinsons finalists who will be competing for the title of Ms. Robinsons on May 29, the Coronation Night, at the Galleria Trade Hall 4th level Robinsons Galleria.

The competition, which was launched last month, was able to attract over 150 young women aged 16 to 21 years old to become the second Ms. Robinsons.

The new batch of Ms. Robinsons finalists are Veronica Christiane Marie Ventosa, 16 years old from Pasig City; Katrina Grace Rigets, 19 years old from Quezon City; Anna Katherine Bautista, 21 years old from Malate, Manila; Vanessa Anne S. Kibanoff, 21 years old from Arayat, Pampanga; Melissa Cherish Stamey, 16 years old from Sta. Maria, Bulacan; Kristel Marisse Tingzon, 19 years old from Sampaloc, Manila; Finky R. Carandang, 21 years old from Rosario, Batangas; Samantha Gayle C. Santos, 18 years old from Cainta Rizal; Maribel Villadiego, 21 years old from Binangonan, Rizal; Nhessica R. Weber, 16 years old, from Dasmarinas, Cavite; and Gianne Paola C. Policar, 17 years old from San Pedro, Laguna.

The selection of these 12 finalists was based on their over all appearance, poise, talent and personality. The Search for Ms. Robinsons Batch 2 is supported by Seventeen Magazine, Magic 89.9, Picture City, Sabella, Informatics Computer Institute, T bags & shoes, Colorstone, Wade, Terranova, Gold’s Gym, Cebu Pacific, Holiday Inn Galleria Manila, R Abenson Appliance, Bobbie Nail Crème, Foot Accent, Funktionell Furniture, Louis Maclean, Chamdor, Accel Shoes and Nivea.

MISS ROBINSONS WINNERS-BATCH 2

Beauty & brains pre-med student Katrina Grace Rigets, 19 years old from Cubao, Quezon City, received the judges nod to become the new Ms. Robinsons, Batch 2. This announcement was made during a lively presentation held during the Ms. Robinsons Awards Night held at the Galleria Trade Hall of Robinsons Galleria. Completing the magic 4 are the 3 other finalists chosen as runners-up: Kristel Marisse Tingzon, a Journalism student 19 years old from Sampaloc, Manila, 1st runner-up; Nhessica Weber, an HRM student, 16 years old from Dasmarinas, Cavite, 2nd runner-up; and Melissa Cherish Stamey, a high school student, 16 years old from Sta. Maria, Bulacan, 3rd runner-up. The winners received over PhP 50,000.00 in cash and gift certificates, plus a modeling contract with Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC). The 4 winners will also be present during Robinsons Malls’ special projects and major events.

Special awards were also given during the Coronation Night. Melissa Cherish Stamey was voted Miss Friendship by her co-finalists and was also chosen as Best in Active Wear by Gold’s Gym Kristel Marisse Tingzon was awarded Best In Glam Wear by Sabella; and Katrina Grace Rigets went home with the Press Photographers’ Choice Award, which was selected by the media present during the previously held Press Preview.
