     US firm buys into Robinsons Land

MANILA, Philippines -- GMO Emerging Markets Fund of the US has purchased 153.9 million shares, or a stake of 5.61 percent, in Robinsons Land Corp., the investment company told the Securities and Exchange Commission here.

The series of purchases was made between November and this month, at P15 to P16.20 per share, and executed by three foreign brokers on the stock exchange here, it said.

The fund typically makes investments in stocks traded in emerging markets.

Robinsons Land closed unchanged today at P15.75.
