Summit Galleria Cebu, the flagship hotel of Summit Hotels and Resorts, was recently inaugurated with JG Summit Holdings Inc and Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC)’s Chairman Emeritus John Gokongwei, Jr., leading the formal rites held at the Hotel Lobby. This 11th storey hotel building is part of the mixed-use development, Robinsons Galleria Cebu Complex.
Summit Galleria Cebu displays elegance as seen in its modern structure, grand facilities and superb amenities where every guest gets to have a wonderful stay in their well-designed rooms. It has 220 rooms enhanced with a mix of sophistication and modernity while adding a touch of the city’s identity specially crafted by Design Hiraya Queseda, an award winning interior design team based in Manila. Each of its rooms have state-of-the-art amenities including a 42-inch Flat Screen TV with HDMI and USB ports, premium cable channels and wireless high speed Internet access. The design of its Family Rooms and Suites shows a glimpse of Cebu’s heritage. The Mango Family Room and Mango Suite are both donned in neutral colors with fun pop of yellow mango representing its lively Mango Fiesta while the Sinulog Family Room and Sinulog Suite both echo the colorful Sinulog Festival through its vibrant colors and patterns. The Lapu-Lapu Suite is inspired by the legendary aristocrat warrior through the use of tribal designs and ethnic textures. The Suite Room, on the other hand, depicts the pintados with its bold geometric patterns furnished by earth colours and modern woodcrafts. Joining Mr. Gokongwei during the formal rites are (from L-R) Ms. Elizabeth D. Gregorio, General Manager, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, Mr. Frederick D. Go, RLC President, Ms. Lily Ngo-Chua, Senior Vice President for Treasury, Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña, Mrs. Elizabeth Gokongwei, and Mr. Pops Del Rosario, Operations Manager of Summit Hotels and Resorts.
