RLC Partners with LRTA

ROBINSONS LAND CORPORATION (RLC) PARTNERS WITH LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT AUTHORITY (LRTA) FOR THE BENEFIT OF LRTA PASSENGERS AND ROBINSONS MALLS PATRONS

Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Light and Railway Transit Authority (LRTA) for the construction of lay-bay and interconnection access facilities in Robinsons Metro East located along Marcos Highway, Pasig City. Currently, LRTA is undertaking the construction and completion of Line 2 East Extension Project which aims to serve the growing populace farther east and will extend the existing 13.8 kilometer LRT 2 line (Recto – Santolan) System to Masinag in Antipolo City. This will connect Robinsons Metro East to Line 2 and is expected to ferry an additional 75,000 passengers per year when it commences operation in the 2nd quarter of 2017. RLC will also undertake the construction of a lay bay that will enable public utility vehicles to load and unload passengers in the area thereby facilitating seamless vehicular and pedestrian traffic throughout the LRT 2 East Extension Line.
