Bike for Change was launched this April in Robinsons Starmills Pampanga. The project intends to provide bicycles to indigent scholars who are not able to go to school because they lack funds for transportation.
Twenty (20) scholars from the City College of San Fernando Pampanga were the first batch of recipients of the bicycles.
“Bike for Change project hopes that the scholars will be able to complete their studies by providing them with these simple means of transportation,” shares Ms. Roseann C. Villegas, Director for Corporate Public Relations of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC).
San Fernando Pampanga Mayor, Hon. Edwin Santiago was also present during the signing of the deed of donation and acceptance and turnover of the bicycles to the scholars.
